What’s your favourite meal? And when did you last have it?
I have so many; but a Taglatelli Lamb Ragu is definitely one of them. I had this dish recently at Lilliono Bar and Trattoria in an olive grove in the Hunter Valley. It is what makes an Italian restaurant truly authentic, along with a good glass of red.

If you could jump on a plane tomorrow, where would you go and why?
Tuscany and Venice for the food, the wine, the art and the culture!

What’s one thing that few people know about you?
I’m a photorealistic artist, using oils only. I paint a variety of subjects, but am particularly interested in painting landscape and ocean scenes.

What do you do in your down time?
Ocean swimming, spin, cycle, walk, read, cook, IRB Driver for SLS, Board Director for NFP, spend time with family and friends and walk my dog.

What’s a lighting project that’s near and dear to your heart?
Wow – that’s a huge question. I started in lighting in 1990, which means I’ve been working in the industry for 32 years! I have been lucky to work with some of the best architects in world, and worked on some of the best houses and office projects. I’ve also worked on some amazing landscape lighting projects. Landscape lighting is of particular interest to me as the space starts in darkness and you add light to it to create depth and visual acuity on the objects. Light is one of the most amazing mediums to work with, and because I paint with oils I understand the depth of colour and light at an instinctive level.
