What’s your favourite meal and when was the last time you had it? Spaghetti Siciliana is an old favourite. I last had it in in April for a special celebration.

If you could jump on a plane and go anywhere, where would you go and why? Paris is always on the list for all its symmetrical beauty and wonderful art offerings.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you? I went to the army for two years to complete national service in my home county of South Africa.

What do you do in your downtime? I like walking on the beach and visiting art galleries.

What’s a lighting project that’s near and dear to your heart? There are simply too many to mention but I personally love working with Tobias Partners, Dods Zuccon, Popov Bass, and Durbach Block Marston Architects to name but a few of the talented people we have in our industry.

What’s your go-to lighting product and why? It’s really difficult to say only one but the Laser Blades are hard to go past, plus the Palco Low Voltage Spots are always a winner.
