Toko
After 15 years in Surry Hills, Toko has relocated to George Street in Sydney’s CBD. From its inception, Toko has been at the forefront of modern Japanese dining in Australia.
Having designed and built their original restaurant in Surry Hills, the renowned architect Matt Darwon from GP2 Projects was commissioned to design and construct the new premises. To preserve the architectural identity synonymous with the Toko name, a material palette of warm timbers, textiles, and ambient lighting was seamlessly carried through into the new design.
iGuzzini Laser Blades illuminate the central dining tables. With their minimal design and black finish, they seamlessly blend into the timber ceiling, while white Lasers light the stairs. The quality light output of iGuzzini fittings offers high visual comfort, high light efficiency and superior colour rendering.
